What we know about our home:
- "Arts & Crafts" bungalow that was built in 1923.
- 3 bedrooms, 1 "bonus" room, 2 baths, living room, dining room, kitchen and partially finished basement. Outside features - 2 car garage, brick paver patio and one kick-@$$ front porch.
- Previous owners were a married couple with two kids, a dog and a cat.
- Previous owner before them was actually a friend of a friend! It was a rental for a few years during her ownership.
- At some point there was a family with two daughters named Marlene and Marjorie (more on that later).
- Not confirmed but the previous owners told us that the stairs were moved from the back of the house to the front and a bedroom was removed in order to do this. The kitchen was also remodeled at that time, approximately 10 years ago. Hope to learn more about this.
- We were able to fill 19 yard bags on our first spring clean-up last weekend (still am not sure how this was possible).
Our community actually has a Historical Museum that saves history on many of the homes. I plan on making a trip there soon to learn more!
We've already completed our first project. I will be writing details on that over the next couple weeks. Hope you enjoy reading our updates as much as we love doing them. :)
